About the Journal

New Horizons - Journal of Student Research (NHJSR) is an international, multi- and interdisciplinary, open-access, annual, and faculty-reviewed journal published by the University St. Kliment Ohridski in Bitola (North Macedonia), devoted to the rapid dissemination of current student research. This journal adheres to a regular publishing schedule, occasionally featuring special issues. The journal seeks papers that are novel, integrative, and written in a way that is accessible to a wide audience, including an array of disciplines. The content of the journal ranges from applied research to theoretical research. In general, papers on all topics are welcome.

Starting from Vol. 2 (2024) of New Horizons - Journal of Student Research, the journal will publish a special issue featuring papers successfully defended at the Annual Scientific Conferences for the presentation of independent doctoral research projects by UKLO PhD candidates.
