THE MAJOR MACROECONOMIC TRENDS IN THE WESTERN BALKANS

Abstract

Macroeconomics is crucial to understand each country’s development indicators and predict the short-term and long-term their consequences on the performance of economies. The research has been divided into key sections: economic growth, employment, productivity, investments, depts, and business dynamism. In the paper is concluded that is needed the new approach to regional cooperation and new strategy creation related to political and macroeconomic stability in the Western Balkans countries. All this must be accompanied by structural reforms.
